With long hours of music streaming comes the added need for comfort, and Marshall’s latest on-ear headphones are built to tackle just that. The brand recently introduced the fifth iteration of its Major series, which prioritises convenience and provides a 20 per cent increase in playback time compared to its predecessor. Marshall Major V on-ear headphones: What's there to know?
Marshall has equipped the Major V with 40mm dynamic drivers and 106 dB SPL driver sensitivity. Other technical specifications also include a frequency response of 20Hz – 20kHz.
The brand has employed its ‘classic’ Marshall design, but the headphones come with a more rugged build to withstand wear and tear. Additionally, the headphones can be folded and packed for portability and convenience. If that’s not all, the company also assures continued comfort even with long hours of headphone usage.
The Major V headphones deliver the ‘Marshall Signature Sound’, which the brand claims have been improved to reduce distortion and enhance clarity. Marshall additionally claims that the Major V is Bluetooth LE Audio ready, which will increase the streaming range significantly, apart from improving audio sync with videos.

Users get an ‘M’ button on the device which can launch Spotify by default; however, they can also customise this using the Marshall Bluetooth smartphone app for other options such as voice assistant or EQ presets.
Lastly, Marshall mentions how users get 100 hours of extended playback time, and it can be recharged in only three hours with a USB-C cable. Alternatively, it has also provided the earphones with a wireless charging option for convenience.

The Marshall Major V on-ear headphones are priced at Rs 14,999 and are available for purchase online on the brand’s website, as well as major e-commerce portals.
