Lenovo Yoga Slim 9i announced with an under-display camera at CES 2025

Lenovo is making headlines at the CES 2025 with the showcase of the Lenovo Yoga Slim 9i. You may wonder what’s special about the laptop, other than it being slim and a productivity machine. Well, it’s the first laptop with an under-display camera, which makes its display truly immersive.

However, camera isn’t the only highlight of the Yoga Slim 9i, it also comes with Intel’s Ultra series chipset, making it ready for AI workloads. The laptop also has a 4K display and a long-lasting battery. Let’s see the laptop’s specifications, features, price, and availability details.

What’s special about the Lenovo Yoga Slim 9i?

The Lenovo Yoga Slim 9i is a productivity machine. As mentioned above, it has an impressive 32MP camera situated beneath the display, which is almost invisible, unless you try to do some nitpicking. We’ve seen similar implementations before in phones like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6, but this is the first time a camera has gone under a laptop screen.

Another special feature about the laptop is it’s AI-ready hardware. The laptop is powered by Intel’s Ultra 7 processor, which is a chipset with a 48 TOPs (Trillion operations per second) NPU. This ensures that the laptop can handle AI workloads.

The laptop also has the Intel Arc Graphics 140V inside for graphical tasks. With the NPU, CPU, and GPU, the Yoga Slim 9i becomes an ultimate productivity machine. Not to forget, there’s also up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of PCIe M.2 Gen 4 storage.

Other than this, the laptop features a 14-inch OLED touch display with a 4K resolution and a fluid 120Hz refresh rate support. The panel has 100 per cent sRGB and P3 coverage, which ensures vibrant colours.

Lenovo will announce its pricing details later. However, it should be available for purchase later this year in the Tidal Teal finish, alongside other Lenovo laptops showcased at CES.
