If you’re scouring the market for a mid-range tablet, Lenovo has just added another option to the fray. After being announced at CES 2025 in January, the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro has finally made its way to India.

Boasting a 12.7-inch 3K display and a quad JBL-tuned speaker setup with Dolby Atmos support, the tablet could be ideal for streaming, designing, and light gaming. Want to know more? Read on.

Lenovo Idea Tab Pro: Price and availability

You can get your hands on the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro for Rs 27,999 in India. This gets you the 8GB + 128GB variant, while the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs 30,999. The tablet is available in a single Luna Grey colour.

If you’re looking for another option in a similar price range, the Xiaomi Pad 7 is a good alternative. On the Apple side of things, the iPad 9th Generation Wi-Fi is also a capable option.

The Lenovo Idea Tab Pro will be available for purchase on Lenovo India’s website and other online platforms starting March 21.

Lenovo Idea Tab Pro: Specifications and features

Designed for streaming and creative tasks, the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro naturally features a solid display. It’s a 12.7-inch LTPS LCD display with 3K resolution and a buttery smooth 144Hz refresh rate. The display has a peak brightness of 400 nits and 273 PPI (pixels per inch). The Idea Tab Pro also houses a quad-speaker system tuned by JBL with Dolby Atmos support.

Under the hood, the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro packs the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 chipset. It is a 4nm chipset with a maximum clock speed of 3.35GHz. This is paired with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. The tablet runs on Android 14 with ZUI 16 and includes a couple of AI features such as Circle to Search and Gemini.

Powering the tablet is a massive 10,200 mAh battery that promises 11 hours of video playback. You get 45 W fast charging support as well. Other notable specifications include Wi-Fi 6e support, Bluetooth v5.3, USB-C 3.2, and a microSD card.

For cameras, the tablet packs a 13MP rear shooter with auto-focus and an LED flash. The selfie camera is an 8MP fixed focus unit.

Lenovo has also baked in some productivity tools which includes Lenovo’s own Share Hub for cross-device file sharing, App streaming for mirroring tablet apps to a PC, and Smart Clipboard for easy copy-pasting between devices.

Lenovo Idea Tab Pro: Build and design

The Lenovo Idea Tab Pro is sleek and portable weighing only 615 grams, with a thickness of 6.9mm. It sports a premium all-metal build.

Lenovo also offers a stylus, called the Lenovo Tab Pen Plus, and a 2-in-1 keyboard case for the tablet. However, you will need to buy the keyboard separately.
