Lava has launched a new 5G smartphone in the smartphone market. The all-new Lava Yuva 2 5G comes with a premium marble design, a high refresh rate display, and a Unisoc chipset. The device also features dual cameras and large battery, all at an affordable price.

Lava says that the Yuva 2 features a metallic frame and a premium marble design on the rear. It has a 6.67-inch punch-hole LCD display with an HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. The screen has a 90Hz refresh rate support for smooth scrolling.
In terms of the optics, the device has a dual-rear camera system with a 50MP main sensor. The main sensor has an f/1.8 aperture support. It is assisted by a 2MP auxiliary camera and an LED flash unit. For those who want to take selfies and make video calls, there’s an 8MP front-facing camera.
Powering the device is a Unisoc T760 quad-core processor paired with Mali-G57 MC4 GPU. It has 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. There’s also a microSD card slot for those who want additional storage of up to 1TB. Coming to the battery, there’s a 5,000mAh cell inside that supports 18W charging support.

The smartphone runs on Android 14 OS out of the box and has added UI features. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack for audio, and users also get stereo speakers. There’s also the FM Radio option for those who like to go the traditional way when it comes to enjoying music.
Lava Yuva 2 5G price and availability
The Lava Yuva 2 5G is priced at Rs 9,499 for the lone 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. It has two colour options – Marble Black and Marble White. The device can be purchased via retail outlets across the country. Notably, Lava offers a 1-year warranty and free service at home support for the Yuva 2 5G buyers.
While the Lava Yuva 2 5G appears to be a decent budget offering, you can also consider some of its 5G alternatives in the same price range, like the Vivo T3 Lite 5G and Samsung Galaxy F15 5G. Both phones offer a high refresh rate display and a large battery.
