iQOO Neo 10R with 144Hz display, Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 launched in India

iQOO is back with a new smartphone in the Indian market. Called the iQOO Neo 10R, it succeeds the iQOO Neo 9 Pro, and comes with a dual-tone design, a high refresh rate display, and a Snapdragon 8 series chipset.

If you are holding off on buying a new gaming smartphone, this could be the one for you. So, read on to see the specifications and features of the new iQOO Neo 10R.

What’s special about the iQOO Neo 10R?

Despite having an updated design over the predecessor, the iQOO Neo 10R features a familiar design. That’s because it borrows its look from the more premium iQOO 13. The difference is that the Neo 10R features a dual-tone look for the Raging Blue shade.

The smartphone sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels. It has 144Hz refresh rate and 480Hz touch sampling rate for smooth gaming and a better touch response. The panel peaks at up to 4,500 nits of brightness and features Schott Xensation Up glass protection.

Powering the device is the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, which is an octa-core SoC based on 4nm fabrication process. It has 8GB and 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM options and 128GB (UFS 3.1) of base and 256GB (UFS 4.1) of max storage.

In terms of cameras, the device has a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with an OIS support for stable footage. It is assisted by an 8MP ultra-wide camera unit for clicking group shots. The rear camera is capable of shooting 4K videos at up to 60fps.

Keeping everything running is a large 6,400mAh battery, which is a huge upgrade over its predecessor’s 5,160mAh cell. While the battery size has been increased, the charging speeds have gone down from 120W to 80W, which is still insanely fast. The device boots on Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15 on top.
