Earlier this week, we all waited for the next iPhone SE to launch; however, the announcement was seemingly pushed back. Now, Apple’s CEO Tim Cook has confirmed the release of a new product next week, and it’s likely to be the much-rumoured iPhone SE 4.
Alongside the iPhone, we are also expecting to see a new MacBook and some more announcements. If you are an Apple fan, here’s what’s in store next week.
Apple February event timeline, what to expect
Apple’s February event is finally set for next week. Cook confirmed that the event will be held on February 19 (Wednesday), which is not too far away. The event should be live streamed on Apple’s official YouTube channel.
As for what to expect, Cook’s launch announcement says, “Get Ready to meet the newest member of the family,” hinting that it’s a device from an existing family of devices.
With that considered, it’s likely the iPhone SE 4, although Apple is also expected to announce the much-anticipated M4 MacBook Air.
iPhone SE 4: Everything we know so far
The iPhone SE 4 is rumoured to feature a new design compared to the predecessor iPhone SE 3rd generation. It will still borrow some design aesthetics from the iPhone 14 and iPhone 13, which means we could see a notch display.

It is also expected to have a 6.1-inch OLED display with 60Hz refresh rate support, and Face ID support, instead of Touch ID. This means, there won’t be any physical home button on board.
The smartphone may feature a 48MP single-rear camera and come with Apple’s A18 chipset under the hood. Other expected features include 8GB of RAM, support Apple Intelligence, and iOS 18 running out-of-the-box.
The iPhone SE 4 is expected to be more affordable than the iPhone 16, and it may arrive in India starting at under Rs 50,000.
