The iPhone 16 series is here, and yes, there are a number of new features and improvements from the iPhone 15 series last year, but an underrated aspect of the new Apple smartphones is the new choice of colours on the new phones.

Gone are the muted, minimal pastel shades of the iPhone 15. Instead, you have much deeper colours that can be instantly recognised from a mile away. Here’s all you need to know about the new colours of the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, as well as the new shade you can get the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max in.

The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus feature in five colours. These are:

Ultramarine – A deep, darker blue takes away from the pastel colours of the 15 series, and offers a richer hue that will remind you of the ocean every time you glance upon it.

Teal – One of the standout colours from this year’s lineup is the new Teal variant, which blends blue and green together for a cool new, youthful look.

Pink – A darker, metallic upgrade provides a refreshing glow and never-seen-before Pink hue to the iPhone 16 variants.

White – A classic colour that never goes out of style is a crisper White that not only gives a glazed look, but also hides scratches.

Black – Landing somewhere between Jet Black and Space Gray, the Black variant gives a premium look, ideal for those who don’t want to attract too much attention.
