Apple finally refreshed its iPad Air lineup on Tuesday. The news came in after CEO Tim Cook shared a cryptic message on the company’s social handles. The all-new iPad Air was introduced with the Apple M3 chipset and supports Apple Intelligence. It also starts at 128GB of base storage and comes alongside a new Magic Keyboard.
Additionally, Apple also launched the standard iPad with the A16 Bionic chipset and iPadOS 18. Here’s everything you need to know.
Apple iPad Air M3 key features, price, and availability
Apple’s latest iPad Air comes with new internals. It is now powered by the Apple M3 chipset, which is nearly 2x faster than the iPad Air with M1. It features a 12MP rear camera and a Center Stage camera on the front for FaceTime calls. It comes in two screen sizes – 11-inches and 13-inches. The iPad Air M3 also supports the new Magic Keyboard, which you’d have to buy separately.
The iPad Air M3 comes in four options, namely, Purple, Space Grey, Starlight and Blue. It starts at Rs 59,900 for the 11-inch variant with base 128GB storage. The 13-inch variant with the same storage starts at Rs 79,900.
The iPad Air M3 is now available for pre-ordering on the Apple website and other retail stores across India. It will start shipping from March 12.

Apple also launched an updated iPad model with the A16 Bionic chipset. This is a big upgrade over the A14 Bionic chipset from its predecessor. It features a 11-inch Liquid Retina display and supports Apple Pencil. It has a 12MP wide camera on the back for capturing memories. Like the iPad Air M3, there’s a Center Stage camera for FaceTime calls.

The 11th generation iPad comes in four colourways, namely, Blue, Pink, Yellow, and Silver. The iPad starts at Rs 34,900 for the base 128GB variant, Rs 44,900 for the 256GB variant, and Rs 64,900 for the 512GB variant.
The new iPad can be pre-ordered right away from the Apple website and other retail stores. It will be shipped from March 12.
