Infinix Zero Flip announced with a 50MP front camera and a zero-gap hinge

With foldable phones comes worrying about hinge durability and screen creases. However, to tackle this issue, Infinix has announced its first clamshell foldable phone, the Infinix Zero Flip. The company claims this foldable phone has a ‘zero-gap hinge’ and ‘minimal screen crease’.

Similar to the Infinix Zero 40 series which launched a while ago, the newly launched foldable phone is equipped with GoPro mode. This allows users to connect to any GoPro device and manage the controls from the phone. It also acts as a monitor to review the footage in real-time. Here are other features that you must know about the Infinix Zero Flip.

Infinix Zero Flip: Features to look out for

Infinix Zero Flip gets a 6.9-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with a 3.64-inch AMOLED cover display. Both panels support a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone measures 7.64mm in width after being folded and weighs only 195g which makes it convenient to carry in your pocket.

Powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8020 SoC paired with up to 16GB RAM with 512GB storage capacity. It also has a virtual RAM feature which allows more computing speed temporarily.

The Infinix Zero Flip is equipped with a dual camera unit that includes a 50MP primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and a 50MP ultra-wide. The front camera also has a 50MP sensor for high-resolution selfies. With such capabilities, both cameras support 4K recording.

Backed by a 4,720mAh battery, the foldable phone supports 70W fast charging. The speaker units on the phone are tuned by JBL.

The handset is integrated with AI assistant, Google Gemini. The smartphone also features an inbuilt AL Vlog Mode that provides users with step-by-step instructions to turn raw footage into a vlog.

Infinix Zero Flip: Price and availability
