Infinix today announced the new Infinix Note 40 Racing Edition smartphones in India. The new device comes in two variants, both priced under Rs 20,000, and sports BMW-inspired accent elements on the back panel. These are limited edition versions of the regular Infinix Note 40 Pro and Note 40 Pro+. Although there is just one colour variant available.
Here’s everything you need to know about this new motorsport edition phone, including price, features and specifications.
Infinix Note 40 Racing Edition: What’s new?
The Infinix Note 40 Racing Edition phones both come with a 6.78-inch FHD+ curved AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The phones are powered by the MediaTek DImensity 7020 chipset, making these 5G-compatible Android phones.

The phones also come with a triple camera setup on the back, including a 108MP primary camera, and two 2MP sensors. There’s also a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls. Other features include JBL-tuned stereo speakers.
The Racing Edition Note 40 Pro comes with a 5000mAh battery and 45W charging, while the Pro+ comes with a 4600mAh battery and 100W wired charging. Both phones also support wireless MagCharge charging.
If these specifications seem familiar, it’s because the phone offers the same spec sheet as the Infinix Note 40 Pro, adding the new design and BMW elements on top of it. Besides this, buyers of the Infinix Note 40 Racing Edition also get some unique perks.
These include exclusive BMW-themed wallpapers and a new icon pack for some system apps that also bring in the signature blue, red and white shades.
The Infinix Racing Edition phones are priced at Rs 15,999 for the Note 40 Pro model and Rs 18,999 for the Note 40 Pro+ model. Do note that both of these prices are including launch offers, and the phones will be available from today with select retailers. Some other options in this price segment include the CMF Phone 1 and the older Realme 12+.
Products in focus
The Infinix Note 40 Racing Edition phones also come with Android 14 out of the box and Infinix claims the phones will receive two years of software updates and three years of security patches.
