Infinix Note 40 5G brings wireless charging under Rs 20,000

The jury is still out on how practical a feature is wireless charging on smartphones. While there is no denying the convenience of going wireless, the charging speeds are not always up to the mark. But that isn’t stopping brands from launching phones with wireless charging support, and the latest among them is Infinix. Enter the Infinix Note 40 5G.

With a 6.78-inch display and AI-driven features, the smartphone has a lot to offer, and that too at a sub-Rs 20,000 price bracket. Here’s everything you need to know about the launch from processor to price.

Infinix Note 40 5G key features to look out for

As mentioned, the Infinix Note 40 5G comes with a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display and features up to 1,300 nits of peak brightness. For smooth visuals, the brand has provided the phone with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also gets an in-display fingerprint sensor and a low blue light certification from TUV Rheinland.

The Infinix phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7020 5G chipset and offers up to 16GB extended RAM as well as 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

On the photography front, the smartphone gets a 108MP primary camera with OIS (optical image stabilisation) and also flaunts a 3x Lossless Superzoom feature. Apart from that, its triple camera setup also gets a 2MP depth camera and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies and video calls, Infinix has provided a 32MP front camera which comes with a customisable ‘beauty algorithm’.

This comes powered by a first-of-its-kind dedicated power management chip by Infinix — the Cheetah X1. And apart from this, it gets a 33W wired fast charging, and 15W Wireless Magnetic Charging, as well as Wireless Reverse Charging support.
