Infinix GT 20 Pro, GTBook gaming laptop launching soon in India

Infinix has just announced the launch dates for its new Infinix GT 20 Pro smartphone, slated for May 21. That’s not all, though The company has also announced that it will be launching a new gaming laptop, the Infinix GTBook, along with a whole bunch of accessories.

These include a MagCase, a cooling fan, RGB mat and headphones, and even a mouse. Together, it calls its entire new gaming-centric products, the GT Verse ecosystem. Here’s everything you need to know.

Infinix GT 20 Pro: Expected features and key specifications

The Infinix GT 20 Pro was first unveiled in Saudi Arabia last month. If the specs on the version of the device currently available in other international markets are anything to go by, it will pack a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 ultimate SoC mated to a Mali-G610 MC6 GPU, and come in 8GB RAM and 12GB RAM variants, both with 256GB of storage.

That’s not all. It will also get Infinix’s X5 Turbo gaming chip, to further provide for an immersive gameplay experience. Under the hood, it will get a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.

The display on the smartphone is expected to be a 6.78-inch AMOLED unit with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1,300 nits of peak brightness. For audio, it may get a stereo-speaker setup tuned by JBL. What’s cool is, the phone gets a cyber-mecha design, with an LED loop-lighting interface on the back too. There’s an IP54 rating, meaning it can handle a little bit of dust and the occasional splashes of water.

The device will come running on Android 14-based XOS14 straight out of the box. For connectivity, there is Wi-Fi 6 support, along with Bluetooth, GPS, Glonass and Galileo. There’s an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, and NFC support as well.

Coming to optics, there is a triple camera-setup at the rear with a 108MP primary sensor, a 2MP macros sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor.

Infinix GTBook: Expected features and key specifications

Now, not much is known about the Infinix GTBook gaming laptop. However, it has been teased with up to an Intel Core i9-13900H processor along with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 GPU, and an ICE Storm 3.0 dual-fan system to keep it cool.

It may also get a 16-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, along with a 70Wh battery with a 190W power adapter for fast charging. It has been confirmed to get a Mecha bar with customisable RGB lighting, along with a four-zone RGB lighting keyboard.

Infinix GT 20 Pro, GTBook: Expected pricing and availability

While the two devices will be launched in India on May 21, and be made available through various e-commerce portals, there has been no word on their pricing yet. Moreover, it is also not known just how much the peripherals mentioned earlier, which along with the Infinix GT 20 Pro and the GTBook for the GT Verse gaming ecosystem, will be priced at.
