Indian video game developer, SuperGaming, has finally announced the launch date of its much-awaited battle royale game, Indus Battle Royale. It will also have a special feature called dual victory condition and have a Grudge mechanism.
Read on for everything you need to know about the game – from its release date and availability to its gameplay.
What’s the new Indus Battle Royale game all about?
Indus will be a battle royale game at heart, but it will come with several twists, making it more appealing and suitable for the Indian audience. Starting from its setting, the game will be set on a planet called Indus, where players take on the role of elite operatives of COVEN called Mythwalkers. Players are required to collect Cosmium, a rare resource on Virlok, a floating island set on Indus.

Coming to the gameplay, Indus Battle Royale will feature different game modes and have extensive locations on the map. Since it’s a battle royale game, the player who stays alive till the very end will win the match. However, there’s another way of winning, that is by collecting Cosmium that spawns in the last round of Nirvana. Indus calls this dual way of winning, a dual victory condition.
The game will also feature a Grudge system that will allow players to track and combat against previously defeated opponents. This and the dual victory condition are interesting additions, making the game more appealing than usual battle royales.
Other than this, the game will feature India-inspired characters like Morni, Sirtaj, Heena, Pokhran, and Mech-Balika. Players will also get to equip and use futuristic-style weapons and vehicles.
Indus Battle Royale release date and availability
Now, let’s delve into the release date and availability of the game. Indus Battle Royale is set to release on October 16. The game will be available on both Android and iOS platforms via Google Play Store and Apple App Store, respectively.
As you’d expect, the game will be made available for free of cost to mobile users. But Indus Battle Royale isn’t just coming to mobile. As per the game’s official website, SuperGaming plans to release the game on PC and consoles soon after its mobile release.
