HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 14 launched with Intel Lunar Lake chipset, AI features

HP has launched a new laptop in India to satisfy users’ portability needs. The HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 14 is a portable laptop with a slew of features, including AI features. It is powered by Intel’s latest Lunar Lake chipset and features an OLED display. Let’s see the laptop’s specifications, features, and price. 

HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 14 specifications and features

The OmniBook Ultra Flip 14 is a 2-in-1 laptop, which means you can use it as a laptop as well as a touchscreen work machine. It has a thin-and-light form factor making it portable. It features a 14-inch OLED display with a 2.8K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate support. It’s a touchscreen panel with support for stylus input. 

HP calls the OmniBook Ultra Flip 14 an AI PC, thanks to the chip inside. It draws power from the Intel Lunar Lake Core Ultra 200V Series processors. There are two variants – a Core Ultra 7 268V variant and a Core Ultra 9 288V variant. 

These processors come with dedicated NPUs capable of 40 TOPS, making the machine ready for AI workloads. As a result, the laptop has Copilot+ integration, allowing users to easily chat with Microsoft’s AI assistant. 

Apart from this, the laptop comes with up to 32GB of LPDDR5x RAM and has 2TB of PCIe Gen 4 M.2 SSD storage. As for the battery, the laptop houses a 4-cell 64Whr Li-Po battery with support for 65W fast charging. HP advertises the laptop to offer up to 21 hours of local video playback on a single charge.

The laptop has a 9MP infrared camera for video meetings. It comes with a manual privacy shutter. It runs on Windows 11 OS out of the box and has Microsoft Office 2021 pre-installed. The laptop has the following ports: 2x Thunderbolt 4 USB Type-C ports, 1x USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio port. It has Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 as connectivity options. 

HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 14 price and availability

Coming to the price, the OmiBook Ultra Flip 14 is priced at Rs 1,81,999 for the Intel Core Ultra 7 258V variant and Rs 1,91,999 for the Intel Core Ultra 9 288V variant. The laptop can be purchased in the online and offline markets. Buyers get Adobe Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements for free with their purchase before October 31. 

HP OmniBook Flip 14 appears to be a good flagship-grade portable AI machine in the premium range. However, before you go ahead and purchase it, you can also consider one cheaper alternative from Asus, the ZenBook S14, which has similar specifications.
