HP has launched a new laptop in India for those who plan to up their productivity game. The latest HP OmniBook 5 is a brand-new machine that is powered by an AMD CPU and has built-in NPU for all the on-device AI tasks. It also features a Copilot Key and has HP AI Companion, among other AI features. Here’s everything you need to know.
What’s special about the HP OmniBook 5?
The latest HP OmniBook 5 is a large laptop featuring a 16-inch display. The screen has a 2K WQXGA resolution with 300 nits of brightness. It has a full-sized keyboard with a dedicated number pad and the Copilot Key. There’s also a large trackpad for scrolling.
The OmniBook 5 comes in two chipset variants. This includes a Ryzen AI 5 340 model and the Ryzen AI 7 350 model. Both have 50 TOPs of built-in NPU for on-device AI tasks. It also has AMD Radeon 840M graphics and is paired with 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB of PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD storage.
The laptop has a 1080 FHD IR camera with manual shutter. For the battery, it houses a large battery with 65W USB-C charging support. The laptop comes with a slew of AI features, including Copilot+, AI Noise Reduction, HP Audio Boost, and HP AI Companion.

As for connectivity, the laptop comes with two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, and a 3.5mm jack for attaching your wired headphones. The laptop also has Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4. Lastly, the laptop runs Windows 11 Home OS and comes with a one-year Microsoft 365 subscription and a lifetime Office 2024 license.
HP OmniBook 5 price and availability
The HP OmniBook 5 powered by the Ryzen AI 5 340 is priced at Rs 75,990. The Ryzen AI 7 350 model costs Rs 87,990. Those interested can pre-order the laptop at HP stores and partner retail outlets across India.
