HP launches new EliteBook lineup with oodles of AI power!

HP has launched its latest line of commercial AI PCs in India including the HP EliteBook Ultra G1i, EliteBook X G1i Flip, EliteBook X G1i, and EliteBook X G1a. These laptops are designed to meet the needs of modern workplaces by leveraging AI technology.

Its lightweight design and robust security features are tailored for professionals on the go. The new HP laptops house AMD Ryzen and Intel Core Ultra processors and feature an exclusive NPU from HP for top-tier AI performance up to 55 TOPS.

HP EliteBook series: Price and availability

The new EliteBook series is priced starting at Rs 2,21,723 for the HP EliteBook X G1a model which comes in the Glacier Silver colourway. Next up, you’ve got the EliteBook X G1i which is priced at Rs 2,23,456 and comes in two colour variants – Atmosphere Blue and Glacier Silver.

Kicking things up a notch is the EliteBook X Flip G1i which is priced at Rs 2,58,989 and is available in the same colours as the EliteBook X G1i. The priciest is the EliteBook Ultra G1i, as expected thanks to the nomenclature. It costs Rs 2,67,223 and it is available in a single Atmosphere Blue colour variant.

The new HP EliteBook commercial AI PCs are available for purchase at HP online stores. If you’re looking for other options, you could check out some Snapdragon X Plus laptops like the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 or you could go for a MacBook Pro as well.

HP EliteBook series: Features and specifications

The HP EliteBook series have custom HP NPUs which are capable of up to 55 TOPS, which is the highest in the industry, so far! Naturally, this should translate to excellent on-device AI performance. From data analysis to real-time AI applications, the HP EliteBook series of AI PCs are well-equipped to handle it all.

The EliteBook X G1a houses an AMD Ryzen processor which is capable of hitting this insane number, while the Ultra G1i, X G1i, and X Flip G1i house Intel Core Ultra processors capable of delivering 48 TOPS.

The laptops come with HP AI Companion and Poly Camera Pro out of the box which aim to improve user experience through AI-powered personalised audio and video settings. The laptops also offer a dedicated Copilot key for instant access to your AI assistant.

The EliteBook Ultra G1i weighs a mere 1.19kg and houses an impressive 3K OLED display, and a massive haptic trackpad. The EliteBook X G1i and EliteBook X Flip G1i come with Poly Studio-tuned audio, and the latter can also be used in tablet and tent modes with a stylus. The EliteBook X G1a comes with a massive 64 GB LPDDR5X RAM and fast charging capabilities which tops the laptop up from 0-50 per cent in just 30 minutes.

All the laptops also take security very seriously. With features like HP World Security and an Endpoint Security Controller, working individuals are well protected against cyber and quantum computing threats.

Sustainability is also a huge focus with all models using recycled materials in its build. For example, the EliteBook Ultra G1i’s external cover is made from 90 per cent recycled magnesium.
