2-in-1 laptops seem to be all the rage these days. Whether its content creators and graphic designers looking to edit their latest pictures and videos, or professionals catching up on Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations on the go, these laptops cater to a wide variety of purposes.
And HP, keeping in mind precisely these purposes, has just unveiled the Envy x360 14 laptop in India. Here’s all you need to know about.
HP Envy x360 14: Performance and storage
The HP Envy x360 14 is powered by the Intel Core Ultra 5 processor, which brings AI capabilities from the cloud to the laptop, via the in-built Neural Processing Unit (NPU). These AI capabilities include everything from text and image generation, the ability to debug code, image and video editing, and more.

Also, speaking of on-board AI, the laptop is also HP’s first in India that gets a dedicated Copilot button to call on Microsoft’s AI chatbot of the same name at any time.
The laptop gets 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a 512GB PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2 SSD for storage. For graphics, the laptop gets Intel integrated graphics.
HP Envy x360 14: Battery
HP’s latest offering in the Envy x360 series of laptops packs a 3-cell 59-Whr battery, which the company claims can last for up to 10 hours and 30 minutes at a stretch. In addition to this, the laptop can also be charged from 0 to 50 per cent within 30 minutes, using the 65W USB Type-C power adapter that comes with it.
Moreover, HP says the aforementioned NPU (Neural Processing Unit) on the laptop allows for up to 65 per cent better battery life as compared to its predecessors.
HP Envy x360 14: Design and display
The HP Envy x360 14 is housed in an aluminium shell, is 17mm thick, and weighs in at 1.39KG.
The laptop sports a 14-inch 2.8K resolution OLED display with a variable refresh rate of between 48Hz and 120Hz. What’s cool is, the display is also IMAX certified, allowing for an unhindered viewing experience while watching films such as Oppenheimer and Dune 2.

For audio, there is a DTS:X dial-speaker setup with Poly Studio and HP audio boost technology.
HP’s latest offering gets a soft-touch, backlit grey keyboard, to minimise noise. In addition to this, it also gets a rechargeable MPP 2.0 Tilt Pen, to make multi-tasking on the go easier, as well as allowing you to scribble notes or doodles, as and when you like.
There’s also a 5MP IR camera with temporal noise reduction technology which helps prevent grainy image quality on video calls, and dual array digital microphones for clear sound as well.
HP Envy x360 14: Connectivity
Coming to connectivity, the HP Envy x360 14 is armed with Bluetooth 5.3 support as well as Wi-Fi 6E connectivity. In addition to this, there are two USB Type-A ports, two USB Type-C ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

On-board is also an accelerometer, a gyroscope and an infrared thermal sensor. The sensor, for the unaware, is used to measure the heat generated by the device, and initiate warnings or a shutdown in case the system overheats.
HP Envy x360 14: Pricing and availability
The HP Envy x360 14 is available in two colourways – Atmospheric Blue and Meteor Silver.
The laptop is priced at Rs. 99,999 and can be purchased via HP’s stores as well as its website. In addition to this, it can also be picked up from all other major e-commerce portals and partner retail outlets across India.
A few other options you can consider in this price range are the Samsung Galaxy Book3 360 or the Dell XPS Intel Core i7.
