Air coolers can be game-changing in the summer months, when heat can make living uncomfortable. However, if there’s one thing better than staying indoors in a room full of cool air, it’s staying indoors in a fragrant room full of cool air. While this may seem tough, it’s actually pretty easy to achieve.
You may think you’ll need a bunch of air fresheners or automatic spraying mechanisms, but you actually don’t. Here’s how to keep your room smelling fresh using just your air cooler.
Using a cooler perfume
Cooler perfumes are simply scented liquids that can do wonders if you own any kind of an air cooler. All you need to do is drop a few drops of cooler perfume into your air cooler’s water tank when you fill it up, and let the cooler function as it normally would.

The cooler perfume will blend with the water and spread the fragrance across your room as and when the cooler functions. You can add more cooler perfume (or less) to control the intensity of the fragrance to your liking. If you’re feeling experimental, you can even get multiple and mix them up for unique, new scents.
Creating your own cooler perfume
You can also create your own cooler perfume by mixing any essential oil of your choice with a water-soluble perfume. Use a few drops of this solution at a time and add it to your water tank for a lasting fragrance. Do remember though, that it is a good idea to experiment with quantities before you add the mixture to your cooler to get just the right fragrance.
That is how you can use your air cooler to keep your room smelling fresh, while it is being cooler. Do regularly to regularly add your cooler perfume to automatic air coolers like the Croma AZ75, where you don’t fill water in manually, as the effectiveness of the perfume may keep decreasing as the water keeps on changing.
