How to play GTA Trilogy: The Definitive Edition for free on your phone with Netflix

The Grand Theft Auto Trilogy: The Definitive Edition is now live for mobile gamers via Netflix. The streaming platform had announced earlier this year that it would be bringing the remastered version of these three classical GTA games to its gaming section to smartphones, and now the titles are finally here.

The Grand Theft Auto Trilogy: The Definitive Edition includes three games – GTA III, GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas. All three games are already available on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store, but these are the regular version of these titles, with standard graphics that the original games launched with.

The three new Definitive Edition games, however, come with improved, remastered graphics and other improvements. If you’re an existing Netflix subscriber, here’s how you can start playing the games right away.

How to play GTA Trilogy: The Definitive Edition for free

Step 1: Get a Netflix subscription

Needless to say, players will require a Netflix subscription for the games. However, the good news is that no additional charge is required. You can choose between any of the four plans Netflix offers in India, starting from Rs 149 per month.

Step 2: Download and install the games

Once you have downloaded and subscribed to Netflix, you should be able to download the games from the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. Simply search for the games on your app store of choice and begin downloading them. Of the three games on offer, you can choose whichever you want, or all three of them.

Once the games are installed, you can simply open the same from your home screen or app drawer and start playing the titles. Remember that you will have access to the games for as long as you have an active Netflix Subscription. Enjoy!
