The Samsung Galaxy Watch series has produced some of the best smartwatches of the past few years alongside the Apple Watch series. It also happens to be among the better options for Android phone users. Now, Samsung has made the Galaxy Watch even better with a critical new health feature, that can finally be enabled.
We’re talking about Irregular Heart Rhythm Notification (IHRN), a potentially life-saving feature that can save your life. Here’s how it works, which Galaxy Watch models support it, and how you can enable the same.
What is Irregular Heart Rhythm Notification?
The new Irregular Heart Rhythm Notification feature constantly monitors the heart rate of the user and recognises a pattern for your regular heart rate. This can be across multiple activities from sleeping to during workouts.

However, when your heart is not beating regularly, the feature will recognise the irregular beating rate and alert you of the same. This helps users get a peek at early symptoms of several heart-related ailments like a heart stroke.
