But there comes a time when you might want to wipe out all this collected information. Fortunately, there’s a fairly easy way to delete all your Google history. Read on to find out.
How to delete Google Search history via Google app
To delete your Search history using an Android smartphone or iOS device, you will need the Google Search app. In the app, tap on your profile picture at the top-right corner and select the Search History menu.
Here you will be able to delete all your searches in one click by selecting the Delete All option. If you want to remove the history of a specific period, choose the ‘Delete custom range’ option.

Those looking to wipe off the search history of a specific day, you can do so by tapping on ‘Delete all activity from (date)’. Additionally, you also get the choice to delete a specific activity by tapping the Delete Activity option.
How to delete Google Search history via Chrome browser
If you wish to delete the Google Search history from Google Chrome, open the app on your Android phone, and tap on the vertical three dots icon present on the top-right corner. For iPhone users, you will find the vertical three dots icon at the bottom right of the screen. From there, look for the Search option, and tap on it.
You can remove each activity by tapping on the cross icon (x). If you want to remove all the browsing data at once, go to the ‘Clear browsing data’ option and tap on the Browsing history checkbox.
That’s not all, you also find the choice to remove the cookies, cached images, and videos, saved passwords, auto-fill form data, and site settings by simply tapping on the individual check boxes from here.
Deleting your Google history on computers
To delete Google history from a Windows laptop, desktop, iMac, or MacBooks, open Google Chrome on your device. Look for the three horizontal dots at the top-right corner (parallel to the address bar) and select it. Click on the right arrow of the History option, and a dialog box will open. Choose the ‘History’ option once again, and the History menu will open.

Here, if you want to remove the history by dates, select the ‘By date’ option. For those who want to delete a chunk of related searches on a specific topic, choose the ‘By group’ option. For both cases, click on the three vertical dots icon, and select the ‘Remove from history’ option.
