Here’s how to connect an Android phone or iPhone to your smartwatches.

Android phones

1. Gear Up:

i. Make sure your Android phone has sufficient charge and Bluetooth turned on.

ii. Download and install the companion app for your smartwatch. This app will usually be specific to the watch brand (e.g. Galaxy Watch app for Samsung Galaxy smartwatches).

2. Turn on Bluetooth:

i. Open the Settings app on your phone.

ii. Tap on Connections (or Bluetooth) and toggle Bluetooth on.

3. Initiate Pairing:

i. Open the companion app you downloaded earlier.

ii. Look for a “Set up” or “Pair” option within the app.

iii. Follow the on-screen instructions, which typically involve granting permissions and searching for nearby devices.

4. Pair and Connect:

i. Your phone might display a list of Bluetooth devices. Choose the name of your smartwatch.

ii. A pairing code will appear on both the watch and the phone. Verify that the codes match.

iii. Confirm the pairing on both devices. This might involve tapping “Pair” on your phone.

5. Grant Permissions and Complete Setup:

i. You might be asked to grant a bunch of permissions to the app for accessing data like contacts, messages, or notifications.

ii. Follow any remaining on-screen instructions to complete the setup process. This might involve setting up your Google account or other preferences.

Connecting iPhones and Apple Watches

1. Power Up:

Ensure your iPhone has Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enabled.

2. Bring them Closer:

Place your Apple Watch near your iPhone with both devices powered on.

3. Activation on iPhone:

i. An animation showing the Apple Watch pairing request will appear on your iPhone screen.

ii. Tap Pair on your iPhone.

4. Enter Pairing Code:

A code will be displayed on your Apple Watch. Enter this code on your iPhone.

5. Setting Up Apple Watch:
