Whether premium or mid-range though, OnePlus phones are known for powerful specs and attractive designs alike. However, just mere aesthetic appeal on the outside may not always suffice for once. You can therefore further enhance your OnePlus device’s appeal by taking an extremely simple step.
Namely, putting up a catchy wallpaper. One can choose from one of the several preloaded wallpapers on OnePlus devices, or downloading one from the vast selection available online. Whether you prefer abstract designs, vibrant colours, or artistic creations, there’s a perfect OnePlus wallpaper out there waiting for you. To find out just how and from where, read on.
Where to get wallpapers for your OnePlus devices?
Here are the different places where you can get the best wallpapers for your OnePlus phone.
Pre-installed wallpapers
OnePlus phones have a dedicated wallpaper section in Settings where you can get access to all the preloaded wallpapers. Here’s how to get them:
1. Go to Settings > Wallpapers & Style.
2. Tap on Wallpapers.
3. You will see options such as Recent, Album, Live, and Static.
Recent includes any of the newly downloaded OnePlus wallpapers. Album will let you use any of the photos captured using the phone recently as a wallpaper. The Live section will comprise animated or interactive wallpapers. The Static section has still images that can be used as wallpapers.
Once you’ve selected a suitable image for your wallpaper, tap on it to view it in full-screen mode. Tapping anywhere on the screen will display the same wallpaper with icons to show how the wallpaper would actually look before finalising it. When you hit Apply, it will provide two options: Lock screen for only using the image on the lock screen and Home & Lock Screen for using the same image for both the lock screen and home screen as the wallpaper.
Community forums
OnePlus has a very active community where users from across the world come together under one platform to share their passion for OnePlus’ offerings, technology, exchange tips and tricks, troubleshoot issues, and celebrate the latest innovations from the brand. It is also a good place to find OnePlus wallpapers, as enthusiasts regularly share their favourite wallpapers as well as custom-made images.
You can open the official OnePlus Community forums and look for threads, such as “Share your wallpapers” or “OnePlus wallpaper collections.” You can use keywords like “wallpapers” or “custom wallpapers” while performing a search on OnePlus Community forums. If you are specifically interested in nature wallpapers, you can further refine your search by typing “nature wallpapers” to narrow down the results to scenic landscapes and natural settings.
You can also search for “Shot on OnePlus” and come across user-created wallpapers. Alternatively, you can create a thread asking OnePlus community members to help you find a specific type of OnePlus wallpaper.
Hampus Olsson website
Hampus Olsson, a Swedish graphic designer, gained popularity for his collaboration with OnePlus, where he served as the lead designer for several years. His official website has plenty of iconic OnePlus wallpapers to choose from.
Wallpaper apps or website
The last resort to finding OnePlus wallpapers is to visit some popular third-party apps or websites. Some of the reliable options include Zedge, Walli, and Abstruct. The latter is Hampus Olsson’s official app.
Adding a wallpaper gives a unique touch to any smartphone. Whether you seek abstract designs, calming nature scenes, or a minimalist aesthetic, there are plenty of OnePlus wallpapers available through the above-mentioned options. If you find a wallpaper you love on a website and are not sure if it is safe, try doing a reverse image search on Google Images. This can sometimes help identify the original source and determine whether it is a legitimate download.
