One of the best things about some classic console-exclusive games coming to PC is the extra features they come with. Sony’s Spider-Man Remastered, for instance, brought support for 32:9 ultrawide monitors – something consoles just couldn’t support. However, with these new features in the package, the system requirements of a game also go up.
Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut is one of those awaited games which is set for a PC release next month. While the game coming to PC was something that was announced a while ago, we didn’t know what kind of requirements the title would demand. Now, however, the requirements are out, gamers can finally have a clearer picture of what they’ll need on their machines to run the game, and whether any upgrades would be required.
Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut System Requirements
To run Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut PC on its minimum performance (720p at 30 fps), a user would need at least an Intel Core i3 7100 or an AMD Ryzen 3 1200. This would meed to be coupled with at least an Nvidia GTX 960 (4GB) or an AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT graphics card. The gaming laptop or desktop would also need at least 8GB RAM and 75GB HDD storage, along with at least Windows 10 64-bit.

Anything better than these specifications should mean better performance of the game. That said, Sony has also released a list of recommended requirements for the title, which should offer a better general performance (1080p at 60 fps).
These include an Intel Core i5 8600 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 along with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060/ AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT. The machine will also need 16GB RAM and 75GB HDD storage, also SSD is recommended.
For higher-end gameplay, including 4K gameplay at 60 fps, Sony recommends an Intel Core i5 11400/ AMD Ryzen 5 5600, along with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080/AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT graphics card. The game will also perform the best with 16GB RAM, 75GB SSD storage and Windows 10 64 bit.
These are the specifications your gaming laptop or desktop will need if you’re looking to enjoy Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut PC at its best. Remember, the game launches on May 16, which gives you plenty of time to upgrade your rig or buy a new gaming laptop.
