Dell XPS 13 launched with next-gen Intel Core Ultra Series 2 chipsets

Dell has launched a new XPS series laptop in India. The new Dell XPS 13 comes with Intel’s Core Ultra Series 2 processor and has a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) for AI workloads. Some of the other highlights of the laptop include an OLED display and a long battery life. Let’s see the laptop’s specifications, features, and price.

Dell XPS 13 specifications and features

The Dell XPS 13 comes with a sleek design and a compact form factor. It is made up of CNC-machine aluminium and has Gorilla Glass 3 on the front for durability. The laptop features a 13.4-inch InfinityEdge display with tandem OLED technology.

The screen has Dolby Vision and high refresh rate support of up to 120Hz. It has a Full HD+ resolution and comes with the Eyesafe technology to reduce eye strain.

The laptop is powered by an Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processor, paired with Intel’s Arc Graphics. It also comes with a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) with up to 48 TOPS to handle all the AI workload.

Further, it runs on Windows 11 OS that comes with Microsoft Copilot AI-powered assistant, which Microsoft believes can enhance productivity and creativity. As for the battery, the laptop can get you up to 26 hours of video playback.

Despite packing those specifications, the laptop weighs just 1.2 kg and is 14.8mm thick. What’s more? Dell ships the new XPS 13 in fully recyclable packaging, in case you are concerned about that.

Dell XPS 13 price and availability

The Dell XPS 13 is priced starting at Rs 1,81,990. It will be available for purchase on the Dell website as well as retailer, starting October 18. Some other laptops in the similar range include the HP Spectre 14 x360 and Dell M16, however, these alternatives do not have AI features but they do come with good specifications for the price.

However, if you are specifically looking for AI laptops, you can consider the newly launched Dell Latitude 7455, which is a Copilot+ PC priced under Rs 1,60,000. There’s also a Snapdragon-powered XPS 13 model that comes with AI features under Rs 1,80,000.
