Smartwatches with chunky bezels and rugged designs, may not be for everyone, but that isn’t stopping brands from launching them. We’ve seen some chunky wearables from the likes of boAt, Noise, and even Apple with its Watch Ultra 2. Now, entering this niche space is Croma with its new Stride LB smartwatch. Read on to know everything about this new Croma smartwatch.

Croma Stride LB smartwatch key features

The Croma Stride LB smartwatch gets a 2.0-inch IPS display, housed in a metallic case. It has a resolution of 240 x 296 pixels, and a peak brightness of 500 nits, ensuring it is legible even under harsh sunlight. What’s cool is, the metallic case isn’t all show and no go, as it gets an IP68 water and dust resistance rating. This means that from the occasional splash of rain to prolonged dust exposure, it can deal with it all.

The Stride LB smartwatch has Bluetooth calling capabilities with an in-built speaker and microphone and gets Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, which provides for stable connections with your smartphone.

Besides calls, there are also the usual app notifications, along with weather updates as well a find-my-phone feature, and pre-installed games. On offer is also support for Siri as well as Google Assistant, to do things such as create grocery lists, set reminders and alarms, and more.

The watch, in addition to the usual step count and heart rate as well as SpO2 tracking capabilities, also gets over 100 sports modes to check your parameters while engaging in different kinds of exercises.

The Croma Stride LB smartwatch is said to offer a battery life of up to 20 days with Bluetooth calling turned off, and up to seven days with it turned on. What’s more, the 500mAh unit can also be charged from 0 to 100 per cent in under three hours as well. It also gets a low-power mode, which in theory, could extend its battery life even more.

Croma’s Stride LB smartwatch is available with grey as well as black silicone straps, and is priced at Rs 2,799. The 12-month warranty on the device sweetens the deal even more.
