Last month, OpenAI rolled out a major update for ChatGPT on macOS that allowed it to read on-screen content in select apps. Now, the company has announced that this ability has extended to Apple Notes on Mac devices. This means that ChatGPT can now seamlessly work with Apple Notes, allowing you to make any modifications to your notes using AI.

Here’s how to use ChatGPT within Apple Notes on Mac
Apple Mac users can summon ChatGPT on Mac with a simple shortcut. Follow the below steps to use bring the ChatGPT bar atop Apple Notes, allowing it to read on-screen content.
Step 1: Open Apple Notes on your Macbook/iMac/Mac Mini.
Step 2: Open a note that you want ChatGPT to read.
Step 3: Press Option + Shift + 1 to bring up ChatGPT bar.
Step 4: Now, you can simply type and ask about the on-screen content or alternatively, turn on the advanced voice mode. With the advanced voice mode, you can talk to ChatGPT like a human would do and ask it for suggestions or recommendations.
OpenAI, in its demo, showcased how ChatGPT in its Santa voice mode helped with a holiday party list. It was able to suggest replacement for party songs and give ideas for the party. So, you can get help with almost everything that you do in the Apple Notes app on your macOS machine.
