BSH front-load washing machines launched with AI ActiveWater Plus technology

BSH Home Appliances, a sub-brand of BSH Hausgeräte, Bosch and Siemens, has recently introduced its made-in-India lineup of front-loading washing machines. Keeping the tropical weather and India’s growing laundry needs in mind, the appliances will come with up to a 10kg capacity. BSH has also packed the washing machines with several energy efficiency and other power-packed features. Here all the details you need to know.

The new front-load washing machines from BSH are built to be robust. BSH also claims they can blend in with your home’s contemporary decor without any hassles. The washing machines get SoftCare paddles and drums, which sport a dual-action design to help keep the softness of your garments intact.

Next, it gets an Easy Iron Steam Assist (EISA) feature, which BSH claims can reduce wrinkles by 50 per cent in only 23 minutes. The washing machines, like several other appliances these days, also comes armed with some clever artificial intelligence technology called AI ActiveWater Plus. The technology, in essence, utilises sensors to optimise water and energy consumption based on load size and fabric.

BSH front-load machines also get a pre-soak feature that can remove tough stains during a wash cycle with ease. That’s not all. On offer is an anti-tangle feature that the brand mentions can reduce tangling of clothes by up to 50 per cent. Lastly, it has other features as well, such as Foam Detection and Anti-Wrinkes, which are added to keep your garments looking new for a longer time.

BSH front-load washing machine: Price and availability

BSH front-load washing machines are now available for purchase across key retail outlets and the brand’s official website. They are priced starting at Rs 64,000 for the 9kg variant, and Rs 74,000 for the 10kg variant. Other options within this price range include the LG 9kg 5 Star fully automatic front-load washing machine and the IFB 10 kg 5-star inverter fully automatic front-load washing machine.
