Apple Music Replay 2024 playlist rolls out for users; here’s how to find your top songs

The last month of any year is inevitably about waiting for our favourite streaming giants to drop their year-end wraps. Whether you’re a Spotify, YouTube or Apple Music user, there’s no denying the thrill and anticipation of learning about your listening habits and patterns.

Apple, like every year, has recently rolled out a ‘Top Songs by Year’ playlist for Apple Music subscribers. This playlist tracks a user’s favourite songs throughout the year, and updates them week by week. Wondering where to find this? We’ll tell you more about it below:

Apple Music Replay 2024: What's different about it?

The top songs playlist is available for users throughout the year, unlike rival Spotify, making it a standout feature for Apple Music subscribers. It curates this playlist every week and populates it with songs that you seem to play the most.

Spotify Wrapped, on the other hand, makes your top songs available only for a brief period towards the end of the year. While it does allow users to save this playlist into their library, there is no real-time development within this list. Apple, on the other hand, populates the playlist and also gives you your top songs spanning all the years you have been a part of the streaming service.

At the end of the year, Apple also comes up with an Apple Music Replay recap, which will bring in a few additional details to your existing playlist. These include your favourite artists, top albums and total listening time.

Apple Music Replay 2024: How to access your top played tracks

Starting today, Apple Music Replay 2024 will be available on the Apple Music app on your iPhone, iPad or Mac devices. You can also find this on the Android smartphone app. The playlist can be located at the bottom of the ‘Listen Now’ tab.

If you’ve been a part of the platform since its early days, this is also where you will find all your playlists beginning from 2015. If you don’t see your playlist there, don’t worry. Several Apple Music subscribers are yet to receive their playlists.

Alternatively, you may also have not listened to enough songs in 2024 yet, and the data could be insufficient for Apple to curate a playlist for you. Once you do, the playlist should automatically appear within this tab for you. Now that you have your hands on the playlist don’t forget to turn your haunt into a party for one with its shuffle-play feature!
