Apple has had a great year for gaming. Not only are the latest Macs powerful enough for gaming for the first time, but there’s also a growing collection of games (including some AAA titles) that users with MacBooks or iMacs can purchase and play. Now, Apple is finally opening the door to accessories for these macOS gamers.
Apple gamers now have a dedicated gaming keyboard and mouse from Corsair, that are for the first time, certified to work on devices powered by macOS. These devices are nothing but an Apple-licenced version of the Corsair K65 Plus keyboard and the M75 wireless mouse.

Both of them are available in unique colourways that suit the new Apple M4 Macs just right. Also, these accessories can be purchased exclusively from the Apple official website.
What are the new Apple gaming accessories all about?
For the unversed, Corsair already has the popular K65 Plus gaming keyboard and the M75 wireless gaming mouse up for sale. The new versions are Apple licenced, hence, they come in fresh colours like Blue and White that match the vibe of the new M4 Macs.
Other than the colours, the specifications and features of the accessories remain the same.
The Corsair K65 Plus gaming keyboard has pre-lubricated Corsaid MLX Red linear mechanical switches with RGB backlit LEDs. The wireless gaming keyboard has a multi-function dial and can be paired with multiple devices as once. It is advertised to offer up to 266 hours of battery life with RGB off.

As for the Apple licenced Corsair M75 gaming mouse, it comes with an ambidextrous design, featuring swappable magnetic side buttons. The mouse has Corsair’s Marksman 26,000 DPU optical sensor and is advertised to offer up to 105 hours of battery life.
Coming to the pricing, the Apple licenced Corsair K65 Plus gaming keyboard and M75 wireless mouse are priced at $180 (about Rs 15,200) and $130 (about Rs 11,000), respectively. Both the gaming accessories can be purchased from the Apple official website.
With the Apple licenced gaming accessories, it’s getting clear that the brand is serious about gaming on Macs. The company recently launched the M4 chipset, which powers the latest Macs, and it comes with gaming features like support for hardware-accelerated ray tracing.
Those who do look forward to gaming on their macOS -powered devices, will be glad to know that some Apple-specific accessories are now finally in store. While these accessories are currently not available in India, we do hope Apple does bring them here soon.
