Apple’s next iPhone is launching on September 9

Apple is known for keeping the launch date for any of its major products under wraps right until the last moment. The iPhone tops that list, and just like previous years, we had no information around the launch of the next iPhones even in the second half of August. That changes now, as Apple has finally made the launch date of its next iPhones public.  

As per a new listing by the brand on its website, the next iPhone is set to launch on the event on September 9. The teaser also reveals the new theme called ‘It’s Glowtime‘, just like the Wonderlust theme from last year.

In typical Apple fashion, what that means is not quite clear just yet. However, they could be pointing to some of the new features or aspects of the new upcoming iPhones, particularly to the new ‘glowing’ Siri animation, which is part of the iOS 18 series, and brings a lot of the new Apple Intelligence features to the voice assistant.

Apple’s next iPhone: What to expect

The upcoming iPhones are expected to feature many changes across the board, from design to internal specifications, as per leaks. Rumours surfacing all around the web have suggested that the new iPhones could come with not just bigger batteries and screens, but also a new dedicated physical camera button, but how much of this is true remains unclear. 

The new iPhones are also likely to come with a new chip that succeeds the A17 Pro from the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, and come with iOS 18 out of the box.  

Do note that all these pointers are based on leaks, so we suggest you take them with a grain of salt as usual. More official information on the smartphones is not available just yet. But now that we know Apple’s event is days away, we don’t have to wait for too long to find out.
