Chatbots have lent a helping hand to our routine tasks and unarguably made a lot of our mundane chores easier. However, while a lot of us limit ourselves to ChatGPT, there are several types of chatbots available today that cater to different kinds of queries.
Anthropic’s Claude AI is one such chatbot which comes with a powerful large language model — Claude 3.5 Sonnet — and can process up to 2,00,000 words at once. In an attempt to make the AI bot more accessible, the company recently launched an app for its Android users. And, if that’s not all, the app will also be available for free. Here’s everything you need to know:
Claude AI Android app: What's there to know?
Anthropic mentions how the Claude AI app for Android will support multi-lingual processing and advanced reasoning capabilities. It mentions how users will also be able to sync their conversations with Claude across various devices, and even upload files or photos for real-time analysis.

Unlike ChatGPT, Claude AI will be able to provide real-time information, access links and summarise files uploaded onto the app. It will also support real-time language translation and will even feature a clean, minimalistic interface that its iOS version sports.
How to begin using Claude By Anthropic Android App
Android smartphone users can visit the Google Play Store and install the ‘Claude by Anthropic’ app onto their devices. Post this, users will be able to register and sign into the app to begin using it for free.
While the free version gives you access to pretty much all of its features, you have the option of upgrading to Claude Pro, which gives you access to Claude 3 Opus, and Haiku. These are the brand’s most intelligent and fastest models yet.
To subscribe, the app charges Rs 1,999 per month which can be cancelled by the user anytime. For a more in-depth review, make sure you stay tuned to Unboxed by Croma.
