Amazfit Bip 5 Unity launched with an AI-powered wellness coach

We all know that nearly every smartwatch today – across price points and irrespective of the brand, comes with a few basic features. These include pedometers, heart rate monitoring, Bluetooth calling, and more.

However, what if we told you that there’s a wearable that takes things one step further with an in-built AI-powered personal health coach, that provides you with personalised insights into the data the watch collects? Meet Amazfit’s new Bip 5 Unity smartwatch.

Amazfit Bip 5 Unity: Features and key specifications

The Amazfit Bip 5 Unity smartwatch, running the company’s latest Zepp OS 3.0, comes with a host of health-centric features. This, as we mentioned earlier, does of course include the usual suite of sensors including the heart rate monitor, blood oxygen level monitor, sleep and stress trackers, pedometer, and much more.

The data collected by these sensors, as well as the data collected while using the over 120 different in-built sports modes on the watch can also be synchronised with the Zepp Aura app, available on both Android phones as well as iPhones.

It is here that things get interesting, however. Users can ask Amazfit’s AI-powered personal wellness coach, also called Zepp Aura, to generate reports on their health parameters, and in turn, provide them with personalised insights into the same to help improve it.

That’s not all. The on-board health coach on the smartwatch can also play soothing sounds to help users fall asleep or meditate, and also provide them with insights into their sleep data.

The Amazfit Bip 5 Unity gets a 1.91-inch display with a 320×380 pixel resolution, with an always-on feature, and is encased in steel. What’s cool is, it also gets an IP68 dust and water resistance rating, which means it is more than capable of handling splashes of rain or sudden dust storms on your adventures.

The smartwatch also gets Bluetooth calling support via Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, and gets Alexa virtual assistant support as well. Additionally, it also gets a battery life of up to 12 days on a single charge. The company claims the wearable device can be charged from 0 to 100 per cent in about two hours.

Amazfit Bip 5 Unity: Pricing and availability

Amazfit’s Bip 5 Unity smartwatch is available in three colourways – Charcoal, Grey, and Pink. The device is priced at Rs 6,999 and can be picked up from Amazfit’s website as well as several other e-commerce portals in India.
